Vetevendosje FC were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Varnhem IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andy Eklund took the corner. After 7 played minutes Vetevendosje FC got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Petersson. In the last second Aron Arhenius throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hjalmar Petersson in the 10thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Varnhem IK's Aron Arhenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Beltrán in the 12th minute of play. Eşref Tuney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daho Arrache, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With his leg Aron Arhenius managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Vetevendosje FC's Andy Eklund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hjalmar Petersson in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Arhenius saved Varnhem IK from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Vetevendosje FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daho Arrache came free, but Eşref Tuney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inge Lager kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Eşref Tuney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Kämpe in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daho Arrache in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eşref Tuney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 54 minutes, Daho Arrache mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Varnhem IK and the Vetevendosje FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Varnhem IK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. After having played for 73 minutes, Andy Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vetevendosje FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andy Eklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vetevendosje FC made a substitution. Niklas Martinsson replaced Niklas Ekerot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daho Arrache couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anders Bjurström during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 86 minutes into the game, one of Varnhem IK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hjalmar Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Arhenius having to interfere. If Daho Arrache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andy Eklund in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Arhenius saved Varnhem IK from getting behind. Vetevendosje FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
