Spectators: 7680 (Terracing: 5761, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) IFK Tallkotte's Jonatan Wiman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes IFK Tallkotte got a freekick which was hit by Wiktor Ugla. Anders Bjurström's late challenge caught a IFK Tallkotte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anders Bjurström helped the player get up and apologised. Anders Bjurström hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Varnhem IK's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Sandberg came free, but Aron Arhenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Daho Arrache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Lindqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Jonatan Wiman could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Aron Arhenius however easily saved by the left post. Aron Arhenius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Beckström's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 33rd minute, Karl Björling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the game, Jonatan Wiman lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Aron Arhenius. After 38 minutes, Kjell Vase mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Tallkotte and the Varnhem IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Varnhem IK booed when IFK Tallkotte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Vase didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Månsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven Månsson in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eddie Lindqvist saved IFK Tallkotte from getting behind. Jonatan Wiman had several of the Varnhem IK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Aron Arhenius as he didn't even see the shot coming. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven Månsson was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Varnhem IK's goalkeeper Aron Arhenius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Sten Beckström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aron Arhenius quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. During the 59th minute of the match Anders Bjurström completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anders Bjurström a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Varnhem IK's Anders Bjurström got a free kick in the 60th minute. Daho Arrache's late challenge caught a IFK Tallkotte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aron Arhenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Wiman, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Jonatan Wiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Jonatan Wiman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Arhenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Johannes Tunström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aron Arhenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Wiman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inge Lager during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Varnhem IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inge Lager to maneuver through the defense. IFK Tallkotte's Jonatan Wiman got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the IFK Tallkotte players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
