Spectators: 7693 (Terracing: 5771, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Asier Soriano started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute, Carl Stålberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edvin Hedkvist came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Chivas Regal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvin Hedkvist couldn't finish the play. Asier Soriano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 11th playminute. In the 14thth minute of the game Asier Soriano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vätö's Shaban Galo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Przemyslaw Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Bara, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Asier Soriano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vätö's Shaban Galo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Asier Soriano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oskar Friberger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Shaban Galo made a huge save. With 24 minutes on the clock, Carl Stålberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Vätö:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chivas Regal:s goal. In the 29th minute, Zula Bara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patric Blomberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Przemyslaw Szczęsny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patric Blomberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Chivas Regal's Simon Lind got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 44th match minute, Vätö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Eriksson to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Chivas Regal getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Marc Stål hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patric Blomberg to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Asier Soriano made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vätö's Shaban Galo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Vätö getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Patric Blomberg hit a great ball. Asier Soriano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Shaban Galo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shaban Galo came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Chivas Regal's Asier Soriano. But to his dismay, Asier Soriano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 69 minutes into the match, Asier Soriano notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Vätö's Shaban Galo. Shaban Galo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patric Blomberg in the 78th minute of play forced Chivas Regal's goalkeeper Przemyslaw Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vätö booed when Chivas Regal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Stål didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chivas Regal's Kent Strömberg was substituted for Benedicto Pinto. Marc Stål hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes Vätö got a freekick which was hit by Patric Blomberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asier Soriano in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shaban Galo saved Vätö from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Vätö's Leonard Rang got a free kick in the 85th minute. A collision led to Vätö getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Leonard Rang hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Leonard Rang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kent Strömberg fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chivas Regal's protests and gave Kent Strömberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes Chivas Regal got a freekick which was hit by Kent Strömberg. Przemyslaw Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patric Blomberg in the 94th minute of play. Shaban Galo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asier Soriano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chivas Regal had played much better football throughout.
