Tomas Sandell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Erik Liljeström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puppies AB's goalkeeper Erik Liljeström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Puppies AB's Erik Liljeström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Linberg in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Galacticos FC's Roger Pilgren got a free kick in the 41st minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Linberg in the 53rd minute of play forced Puppies AB's goalkeeper Erik Liljeström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 minutes Puppies AB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roger Pilgren who took care of the corner kick. Roger Pilgren made a great header on Los Galacticos FC's corner, it was just that Puppies AB's Erik Liljeström managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 88th minute, Daniel Linberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bo Biörk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Linberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 95 in the game by Bo Biörk from a close distance when the talented Erik Liljeström managed to make a qualified save. Puppies AB's players were relieved. The Puppies AB fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Galacticos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
