Per Hedlund did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Jim Martin 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Eudoxio in the 94th minute of play forced Eket BK's goalkeeper Jim Martin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Säffle had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
