After taking down the ball on S.S Donatella Calcio's corner Olle Gullesson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Åke Utter quite easily take care of the ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Bill Fitzpatrick who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.S Donatella Calcio's Anton Kråk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, FC NILS's Bill Fitzpatrick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Kråk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 16 minutes S.S Donatella Calcio's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Americo Portas who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Bill Fitzpatrick almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but S.S Donatella Calcio's Anton Kråk did a great save. Zebastian Palmkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Kråk having to make a save. FC NILS's Åke Utter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ueli Gantenbein in the 24th minute of play. Åke Utter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hassan Collins in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Ueli Gantenbein made a precise shot to the right of Åke Utter. FC NILS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 31st minute, Urban Beck made a precise shot to the right of Åke Utter. FC NILS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to FC NILS getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Zebastian Palmkvist hit a great ball. Americo Portas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, FC NILS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Portas to maneuver through the defense. Åke Utter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hassan Collins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC NILS's Åke Utter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hassan Collins in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Ueli Gantenbein had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Åke Utter. FC NILS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ueli Gantenbein was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Åke Utter made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Urban Beck sent off a good shot on target. Stefan Edberg was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see S.S Donatella Calcio's Alberto Docal in action when he in the 58th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Ferdi Kadıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 played minutes FC NILS got a freekick which was hit by Ferdi Kadıoğlu. S.S Donatella Calcio made a substitution. Arvin Dahlman replaced Alberto Docal. FC NILS made a substitution. Florencio Gaueko replaced Ervin Gigovski. FC NILS made a substitution. Filip Örtlund replaced Bill Fitzpatrick. A collision led to FC NILS getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ferdi Kadıoğlu hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Filip Örtlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Kråk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, FC NILS's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Larsson came free, but Åke Utter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89thth minute of the game Hassan Collins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC NILS's Åke Utter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. S.S Donatella Calcio's Olle Holmberg was substituted for Colin McSteven. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.S Donatella Calcio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pol Putov was slow to take the kick. During this time FC NILS's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Pol Putov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but S.S Donatella Calcio's Anton Kråk did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in S.S Donatella Calcio's zone, Pol Putov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Kråk came out of the goal and Pol Putov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded S.S Donatella Calcio left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC NILS.
