The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Langadas FC's goalkeeper Arman Walroth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Lidström. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Söderqwist during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Tony Söderqwist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Lidström got free with Arman Walroth in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute Emanuel Bokelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Abelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Bergman in the 16th minute of play forced Heby IF's goalkeeper Johan Abelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Heby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Bergman came free, but Johan Abelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heby IF's Johan Abelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Esbjörnsson in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Eric Vesterberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eric Vesterberg fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Langadas FC's protests and gave Eric Vesterberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Langadas FC got a freekick which was hit by Eric Vesterberg. Johan Abelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Bokelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Emanuel Hjälm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arman Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arman Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Hjälm in the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Heby IF's Nils Sikström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arman Walroth. That made the score 2-1 after 47 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennart Bergman made a kick off. Arman Walroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claes Arvidsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig Esbjörnsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johan Abelsson having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lennart Bergman in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johan Abelsson saved Heby IF from getting behind. Claes Arvidsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stig Esbjörnsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Johan Abelsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Langadas FC's Arman Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Lidström in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Claes Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arman Walroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennart Bergman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Abelsson having to interfere. Heby IF's Bengt-Rune Gråberg was substituted for Rudolf Vennerdal. Heby IF made a substitution. Erik Ståhlman replaced Jerry Klack. Erik Ståhlman charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Ståhlman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Langadas FC's Svante Ekerot was substituted for Georg Örtendal. Erik Ståhlman hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Arman Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Arvidsson in the 75th minute of the match. Lennart Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Langadas FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Eric Vesterberg hit a great ball. Heby IF's Johan Abelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Heby IF from getting a goal against them. Arman Walroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Sikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Seb Silver lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Langadas FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! In the 95th minute, Karl-Oskar Mattsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Heby IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Langadas FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
