The Whiners FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Rey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Zygmunt Barys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 23rd minute, Folke Nordin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petter Vallin kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Valdemar Carlsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zygmunt Barys was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 33rd minute Raimundo Rey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Barys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Dan Olenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertil Eskilsson hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When Folke Nordin fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Whiners FC's protests and gave Folke Nordin a yellow card for diving instead. Folke Nordin hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Raimundo Rey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Älmhult Flames booed when The Whiners FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petter Vallin didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertil Eskilsson was the one to do the kick off. Francois Keuppens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bertil Eskilsson's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Zygmunt Barys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Carlsson in the 60th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Älmhult Flames got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Bordat. After recieving a nice pass, The Whiners FC's Mikael Lundin tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Älmhult Flames's Mark Sandell got a free kick in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, The Whiners FC's Bertil Eskilsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francois Keuppens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Mark Sandell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Älmhult Flames's Börje Sundström got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Bertil Eskilsson struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Francois Keuppens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Whiners FC. After 74 played minutes Älmhult Flames got a freekick which was hit by Mark Sandell. Nils-Åke Bengtsson hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Raimundo Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Zygmunt Barys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Älmhult Flames getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dan Olenberg hit a great ball. Francois Keuppens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Eskilsson in the 82nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Älmhult Flames's zone, Bertil Eskilsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francois Keuppens came out of the goal and Bertil Eskilsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Älmhult Flames's Francois Keuppens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Lundin in the 89th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Bertil Eskilsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francois Keuppens was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. The Whiners FC had won after a very even match.
