AFC Richmond's Evert Lägdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Lendaa in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, John Guidetti notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of AFC Richmond's Evert Lägdin. But to his dismay, John Guidetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 88th minute, Roger Ånger made a precise shot to the right of Börje Albohm. Baxters Boys's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Olayo in the 95th minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Evert Lägdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFC Richmond's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
