The supporters of Skollholmen FC booed when AFC Richmond was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Ove Stor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evert Lägdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Scislowicz in the 7th minute of play. Evert Lägdin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmund Scislowicz went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice moves Roger Ånger could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Måns Sigfridsson however easily saved by the left post. In the 14th minute Dan Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Måns Sigfridsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fryderyk Dziatkowski hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Stig-Ove Stor hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Erland Alebom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Scislowicz came free, but Evert Lägdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Skollholmen FC's Måns Sigfridsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Telin in the 31st minute of play. After the first half Skollholmen FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in AFC Richmond's zone, Edmund Scislowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Lägdin came out of the goal and Edmund Scislowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmund Scislowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Evert Lägdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Måns Sigfridsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Larsson in the 60th minute of the match. If Edmund Scislowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edmund Scislowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Evert Lägdin made a huge save. Skollholmen FC's Måns Sigfridsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Telin in the 67th minute of play. After 69 played minutes AFC Richmond got a freekick which was hit by Valter Telin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmund Scislowicz got free with Evert Lägdin in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to AFC Richmond getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Roger Ånger hit a great ball. When Gilbert Högström came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the AFC Richmond fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Högström couldn't finish the play. With his leg Evert Lägdin managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Skollholmen FC's Edmund Scislowicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 93rd minute Valter Telin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Måns Sigfridsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chants of Skollholmen FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as AFC Richmond had held the ball for most of the match.
