Dingle IFK's Ebelechukwu De Roeulx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Pettersson in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Dingle IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Pettersson came free, but Ebelechukwu De Roeulx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 minutes of play, Ljungdalen's Alf Pettersson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ebelechukwu De Roeulx was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erling Billström kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ebelechukwu De Roeulx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Käller, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Dingle IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Pettersson came free, but Ebelechukwu De Roeulx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Stig Nyman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ebelechukwu De Roeulx. Dingle IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig Nyman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 21st minute, Alf Pettersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 minutes, Erling Billström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dingle IFK and the Ljungdalen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dingle IFK's Erling Billström got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Alf Pettersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ebelechukwu De Roeulx was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 23 played minutes Dingle IFK got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Ödman. Malte Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Andreas Käller hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Hubert Malmgren hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ebelechukwu De Roeulx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Pettersson in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Anders Hedström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dingle IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Hedström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Pihlwall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th match minute, Ljungdalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Pettersson to maneuver through the defense. Anders Hedström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Pihlwall having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Ulf Gustafsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Dingle IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Oskar Lingren to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dingle IFK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Hubert Malmgren hit a great ball. Ebelechukwu De Roeulx made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Malte Månsson sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Dingle IFK's Ebelechukwu De Roeulx got control of the ball when Andreas Käller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ebelechukwu De Roeulx was a little too slow when Malte Månsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 71st minute of the match, Alf Pettersson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ebelechukwu De Roeulx saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sven Pihlwall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Käller got free with Ebelechukwu De Roeulx in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Ljungdalen defense, Ulf Gustafsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Pihlwall. The Ljungdalen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Pihlwall should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes in the game, Alf Pettersson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ebelechukwu De Roeulx having to interfere. Ebelechukwu De Roeulx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Pettersson in the 80th minute of play. Sven Pihlwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Hedström in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to Dingle IFK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Hubert Malmgren hit a great ball. Stig Nyman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ebelechukwu De Roeulx having to make a save.
