Habakkuk Cole took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ebelechukwu De Roeulx. Ebelechukwu De Roeulx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Habakkuk Cole hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Claes Magnusson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hubert Malmgren. Ebelechukwu De Roeulx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habakkuk Cole in the 28th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Ebelechukwu De Roeulx successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 69 minutes into the game, Jan-Åke Johnsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ebelechukwu De Roeulx. Jan-Åke Johnsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Hubert Malmgren hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernst Vercammen got free with Ebelechukwu De Roeulx in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ebelechukwu De Roeulx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Vercammen, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Ernst Vercammen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ebelechukwu De Roeulx, 0-8. The Dingle IFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. West ham united were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
