Spectators: 7828 (Terracing: 5872, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 156) Jens-Ola Lund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Olsson in the 3rd minute of play. Gustav Hybbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Pilberg having to interfere. Jens-Ola Lund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Jespersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. If Kjell Jespersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Orvar Västerberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Svärdsjö RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 14th minute, Edgar Degas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Johan Skoglund in the 15th minute really tested Jens-Ola Lund's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jens-Ola Lund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Jespersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Skates's Jens-Ola Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Olsson in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, The Skates's Gustav Hybbert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander Pilberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Alexander Pilberg came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by The Skates's Vilhelm Karlstedt. But to his dismay, Vilhelm Karlstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Skates's Jens-Ola Lund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save The Skates from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd match minute, The Skates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Guillen to maneuver through the defense. Erland Ahlström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Jens-Ola Lund made a huge save. 46 minutes into the game, Svärdsjö RK's Leo Soned nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Ola Lund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Degas in the 50th minute of play forced Svärdsjö RK's goalkeeper Alexander Pilberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Svärdsjö RK's Johan Skoglund got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Svärdsjö RK's goalkeeper Alexander Pilberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to The Skates getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Robert Bugajski hit a great ball. Alexander Pilberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Degas in the 55th minute of the match. The Skates's Jens-Ola Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Jespersson in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Svärdsjö RK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Axel Arhenius hit a great ball. Kjell Jespersson took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Ola Lund. Jens-Ola Lund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-5. John Njurenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jens-Ola Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edgar Degas came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the The Skates fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Degas couldn't finish the play. After 85 minutes of play The Skates's Venancio Guillen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 86th minute, Venancio Guillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Gustav Hybbert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alexander Pilberg. The goal made the score 4-7.
