Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Wiman got free with Ingmar Håkansson in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Fjugesta booed when Vätö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Forss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ture Dahlbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isac Andberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Söderman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Stig-Åke Söderman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Andberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Fjugesta's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Holmberg came free, but Isac Andberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingmar Håkansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Mattsson in the 15th minute of play. Emil Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingmar Håkansson was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Joel Wiman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Wiman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Isac Andberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Söderman, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Isac Andberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Hermansson in the 28th minute of the match. Ingmar Håkansson came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Fjugesta's Joel Wiman. But to his dismay, Joel Wiman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Pelle Pihlgren hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Florencio Urbasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ingmar Håkansson made a huge save. Isac Andberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Holmberg in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fjugesta's Dan Vibjörnsson got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Vätö's Stig-Åke Söderman, in the 45th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Vätö. 48 minutes into the match, Vätö's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Mattsson came free, but Ingmar Håkansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The supporters of Vätö booed when Fjugesta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Eklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vätö's zone, Kurt Mattsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingmar Håkansson came out of the goal and Kurt Mattsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vätö's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ture Dahlbom was slow to take the kick. During this time Fjugesta's players had a chance to rest. Evert Sörman charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evert Sörman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vätö getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Evert Sörman hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Ture Dahlbom sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vätö's Ingmar Håkansson didn't even have to move. Isac Andberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Vätö defense, Kurt Mattsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingmar Håkansson. The Vätö fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingmar Håkansson should have stopped the shot. Ingmar Håkansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Mattsson in the 85th minute of play. Emil Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Vätö's Ove Forss got a free kick in the 90th minute. Pelle Pihlgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Simon Odol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute.
