The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. AEK eskilstuna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Adrian Godholm scored to the left of an out of position Vilhelm Västerstrand, making the score, 1-0. Morgan Bergstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Boström in the 6th minute of the match. Ivar Björling was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. After 7 played minutes Bygdeträsk IF got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Björling. After a defensive mix-up in Bygdeträsk IF's zone, Per-Erik Bank stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Morgan Bergstedt came out of the goal and Per-Erik Bank tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Hermansson in the 10th minute of play forced Bygdeträsk IF's goalkeeper Morgan Bergstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, AEK eskilstuna's goalkeeper Vilhelm Västerstrand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Stabbe. In the 14th minute, Patrick Stabbe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bygdeträsk IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Vilhelm Västerstrand was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrick Stabbe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. AEK eskilstuna's Vilhelm Västerstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ola Pålsson in the 21st minute of play. Vilhelm Västerstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Stabbe in the 22nd minute of play. Vilhelm Västerstrand was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Bertil Bogren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bertil Bogren really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. 28 minutes into the match, Bygdeträsk IF's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Skräddare came free, but Morgan Bergstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilhelm Västerstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Bogren in the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AEK eskilstuna's Gösta Boström got a free kick in the 29th minute. Vilhelm Västerstrand came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Bygdeträsk IF's Bertil Bogren. But to his dismay, Bertil Bogren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 38 minutes into the match, AEK eskilstuna's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Stabbe came free, but Vilhelm Västerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gösta Boström charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gösta Boström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gösta Boström hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 40 minutes, Harald Sillén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bygdeträsk IF and the AEK eskilstuna players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bygdeträsk IF getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Harald Sillén hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Bygdeträsk IF's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Skräddare came free, but Morgan Bergstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivan Hermansson made a kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Bygdeträsk IF's Patrick Stabbe made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilhelm Västerstrand was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute, Patrick Stabbe made a precise shot to the right of Vilhelm Västerstrand. AEK eskilstuna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Morgan Bergstedt made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Gösta Boström sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Patrick Stabbe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilhelm Västerstrand was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 66 minutes into the match, AEK eskilstuna's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Pålsson came free, but Vilhelm Västerstrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Ivan Hermansson notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Bygdeträsk IF's Morgan Bergstedt. Morgan Bergstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrian Godholm hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Per-Erik Bank, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 75th minute, Ola Pålsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilhelm Västerstrand was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. After 83 played minutes AEK eskilstuna got a freekick which was hit by Ted Åström. Ivan Hermansson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of AEK eskilstuna booed when Bygdeträsk IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Godholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per-Erik Bank's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Morgan Bergstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bygdeträsk IF's Bertil Bogren got a free kick in the 90th minute.
