Christian Svanström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Vilhelm Västerstrand made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Alstedt during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Joaquin Guillen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vilhelm Västerstrand. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Vilhelm Västerstrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Svanström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AEK eskilstuna's Linus Skräddare got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that FTU were the better team. FTU's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
