Spectators: 7709 (Terracing: 5783, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stig-Åke Söderman started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Bergnorden IF's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Holmberg came free, but Sixten Bokelund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixten Bokelund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Söderman in the 8th minute of play. Sixten Bokelund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Åke Söderman in the 11th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Stig-Åke Söderman put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sixten Bokelund. Karl-Oskar Söder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ingmar Håkansson made a huge save. Karl-Oskar Söder kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Holmberg in the 20th minute of play forced Bergnorden IF's goalkeeper Sixten Bokelund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Vätö's Henry Hermansson got a free kick in the 24th minute. Braulio Gelacio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Ingmar Håkansson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zin el Din Zidan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Sixten Bokelund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Söderman in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Bergnorden IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Oskar Söder to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Åke Söderman in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixten Bokelund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmund Valrot kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, Vätö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Henriksson to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Vätö's Kenneth Vacker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sixten Bokelund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Braulio Gelacio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Bergnorden IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vätö were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Braulio Gelacio to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Bergnorden IF booed when Vätö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Sörman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Karl-Oskar Söder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ingmar Håkansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 61stth minute of the game Stig-Åke Söderman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bergnorden IF's Sixten Bokelund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emil Holmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixten Bokelund having to interfere. In the 66thth minute of the game Stig-Åke Söderman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bergnorden IF's Sixten Bokelund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Braulio Gelacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bergnorden IF's Xove Contreras pulled a muscle in his back after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Pelle Pihlgren fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vätö's protests and gave Pelle Pihlgren a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Vätö got a freekick which was hit by Pelle Pihlgren. Ingmar Håkansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Gelacio in the 76th minute of the match. If Braulio Gelacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Braulio Gelacio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ingmar Håkansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sixten Bokelund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Holmberg in the 86th minute. When Stig-Åke Söderman came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Vätö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig-Åke Söderman couldn't finish the play. Sixten Bokelund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Söderman, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Holmberg got free with Sixten Bokelund in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute Stig-Åke Söderman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Bokelund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bergnorden IF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
