The Rosendahl Flyers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Hägglund in the 47th minute of play forced Höglunda IK's goalkeeper Niklas Skarkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jurand Adamczak was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored Höglunda IK's protests and gave Stig Eckegren a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Höglunda IK! 77 minutes into the match, Höglunda IK's goal looked a bit too open when Jordy Carayol came free, but Niklas Skarkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Höglunda IK's Niklas Skarkman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Adamczak in the 87th minute of play. Karl-Axel Alberg's late challenge caught a Höglunda IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Axel Alberg helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rosendahl Flyers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty!
