In the 21st minute, Enskede-Årsta IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christer Lindström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Christer Lindström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Fredric Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Filiph Vallander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asarums Gois's Richard Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Ove Stensson in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Asarums Gois getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Börje Vesterberg hit a great ball. Asarums Gois's Armin Quercia got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filiph Vallander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enskede-Årsta IF's Fredric Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Quercia in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Armin Quercia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Börje Vesterberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The shot was stopped by Richard Johnsson but with some difficulty. 70 minutes into the match, Christer Lindström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fredric Lundgren. Enskede-Årsta IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christer Lindström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Enskede-Årsta IF made a substitution. John Vennerkvist replaced Jan-Ove Stensson. Christer Lindström charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christer Lindström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The long shot by John Vennerkvist in the 81st minute really tested Richard Johnsson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Richard Johnsson was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Hampus Malmström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hampus Malmström really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2.
