Gábor Keserű might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elliott Flinck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gábor Keserű ran back to his position shaking his head. Bengt Lindholm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Folke Brandt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. Elliott Flinck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pontus Wennerquist's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Höganäs BF's Folke Målare sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt Lindholm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Björköby's Gábor Keserű got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gábor Keserű fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliott Flinck having to interfere. A collision led to Höganäs BF getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Oscar Lindholm hit a great ball. Elliott Flinck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gábor Keserű in the 47th minute of play.

51 minutes into the match, Pontus Wennerquist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elliott Flinck, 1-2. In the 57th minute Sune Västlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Lindholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Björköby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Helström to maneuver through the defense. Höganäs BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folke Brandt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Pontus Wennerquist took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Elliott Flinck to make any attempt to save it. Pontus Wennerquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 82 in the game by Pontus Wennerquist from a close distance when the talented Elliott Flinck managed to make a qualified save. Höganäs BF's players were relieved. Pontus Wennerquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Elliott Flinck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliott Flinck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gábor Keserű in the 88th minute. Oscar Lindholm hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Björköby's Ingmar Flink was substituted for Jânio Velloso. If Gábor Keserű had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th match minute, Höganäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Carlsson to maneuver through the defense. William Biörling, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Höganäs BF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Björköby were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
