Arvin Askestät started the match with the kick off. Eric Asserlindh's late challenge caught a Hofors FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Asserlindh helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Hållsta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Asserlindh to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Hållsta's zone, Stig Gallberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbyszko Lichorobiec came out of the goal and Stig Gallberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig Gallberg got free with Zbyszko Lichorobiec in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Hofors FK's Fredric Snäll got a free kick in the 19th minute. Cristian Villalobos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asso Runnel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Iwan Puzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Hållsta got a freekick which was hit by Verner Kellbom. Iwan Puzio scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Villalobos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rdth minute of the game Iwan Puzio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hofors FK's Cristian Villalobos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arvin Askestät got free with Zbyszko Lichorobiec in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zbyszko Lichorobiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Gallberg in the 39th minute of the match. Eric Asserlindh kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Iwan Puzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Villalobos. Hofors FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iwan Puzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half Hållsta were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iwan Puzio was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Hofors FK's Jörgen Vase got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the match, Hofors FK's goal looked a bit too open when Asso Runnel came free, but Cristian Villalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Hållsta's goal looked a bit too open when Arvin Askestät came free, but Zbyszko Lichorobiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hållsta's Zbyszko Lichorobiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Gallberg in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Hofors FK booed when Hållsta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asso Runnel didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Asso Runnel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwan Puzio in the 95th minute of play forced Hofors FK's goalkeeper Cristian Villalobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hofors FK's Jörgen Vase got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Hållsta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hållsta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
