After 4th play minutes Alexandros Kotakis shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Erik Vidman and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Alexandros Kotakis sped through Malmens FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erik Vidman. If Alexandros Kotakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erik Vidman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandros Kotakis in the 15th minute of the match. Sivert Eriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Alexandros Kotakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Vidman. Malmens FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandros Kotakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 23 minutes into the match, Joel Wennersten dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustaf Bodin, 1-3. After 25 played minutes Grinchez got a freekick which was hit by Göran Vennerdal. Erik Vidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandros Kotakis in the 29th minute of play. Alexandros Kotakis scored 1-4 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erik Vidman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the game, one of Malmens FF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Erik Vidman went to the wrong direction when Alexandros Kotakis was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Algot Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Fredrik Lidberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Grinchez's Alexandros Kotakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Vidman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Göran Vennerdal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erik Vidman was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Erik Vidman was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Alexandros Kotakis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexandros Kotakis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Göran Vennerdal kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Malmens FF defense, Göran Vennerdal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Vidman. The Malmens FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Vidman should have stopped the shot. Göran Vennerdal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erik Vidman firmly grabbed it by the left post. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Malmens FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fredrik Lidberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Grinchez's players had a chance to rest. Grinchez's Fredrik Lidberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erik Vidman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malmens FF's goalkeeper Erik Vidman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erik Vidman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandros Kotakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malmens FF's Erik Vidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Kotakis in the 74th minute of play. Göran Vennerdal took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Vidman. Erik Vidman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. After 82nd play minutes Alexandros Kotakis shot 1-8, a short shot which went by Erik Vidman and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Malmens FF booed when Grinchez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjy Zeller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Vidman made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when August Ekenberg sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Alexandros Kotakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grinchez's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandros Kotakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Vidman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Vidar Kilman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustaf Bodin was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Malmens FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Grinchez were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
