The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Björköby's goalkeeper Bengt Lindholm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rosendahl Flyers were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Björköby's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jerry Lundström took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Biörling in the 10th minute of play forced Rosendahl Flyers's goalkeeper Richard Brodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Rosendahl Flyers getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mark Landin hit a great ball. Björköby's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by William Biörling in the 13th minute. The corner led Björköby's William Biörling to fire away a dangerous shot which Richard Brodin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Emil Hägglund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bengt Lindholm firmly grabbed it by the left post. 17 minutes into the game, Jurand Adamczak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bengt Lindholm. Jurand Adamczak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Richard Brodin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Biörling, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Richard Brodin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Biörling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Björköby's goalkeeper Bengt Lindholm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Hägglund. Björköby were furious when Karl-Ove Gulliksson was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 26 played minutes Björköby got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Ove Gulliksson. In the 27th minute, Rosendahl Flyers's Matias Polentzi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Richard Brodin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pontus Wennerquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, Rosendahl Flyers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Landin to maneuver through the defense. If Pontus Wennerquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, Björköby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by August Bolander to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Björköby getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. August Bolander hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Jerry Lundström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bengt Lindholm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 47th minute Jurand Adamczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Lindholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pontus Wennerquist was the one to do the kick off. Rosendahl Flyers's Richard Brodin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Rosendahl Flyers from getting a goal against them. Pontus Wennerquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, William Biörling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gábor Keserű got free with Richard Brodin in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pontus Wennerquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Richard Brodin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rosendahl Flyers booed when Björköby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. August Bolander didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Rosendahl Flyers's goalkeeper Richard Brodin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gábor Keserű. After a defensive mix-up in Rosendahl Flyers's zone, Gábor Keserű stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Brodin came out of the goal and Gábor Keserű tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Olov Kilström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gábor Keserű's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. In the 75th minute, Pontus Wennerquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Matias Polentzi notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Björköby's Bengt Lindholm. Bengt Lindholm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Richard Brodin came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Björköby's Pontus Wennerquist. But to his dismay, Pontus Wennerquist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Adamczak in the 83rd minute of play forced Björköby's goalkeeper Bengt Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Olov Kilström fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosendahl Flyers's protests and gave Olov Kilström a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rosendahl Flyers getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Olov Kilström hit a great ball. August Bolander took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Richard Brodin. Rosendahl Flyers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Jurand Adamczak made a precise shot to the right of Bengt Lindholm. Björköby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rosendahl Flyers fully deserved thier win.
