When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Jörgen Rudqvist sped through Björköby's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bengt Lindholm. Elias Helström kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Bengt Lindholm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörgen Rudqvist's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Delmiro Gabirel took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Vincent Falkrantz to make any attempt to save it. Ove Dahlbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. William Biörling hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Björköby's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Rudqvist came free, but Bengt Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Limhamns Stjärnor defense, Delmiro Gabirel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vincent Falkrantz. The Limhamns Stjärnor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vincent Falkrantz should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st match minute, Björköby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Wennerquist to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 57 minutes, Gábor Keserű managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Björköby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gábor Keserű was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Björköby's Elias Helström got a free kick in the 61st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörgen Rudqvist got free with Bengt Lindholm in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Gilbert Smitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Björköby's zone, Jörgen Rudqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt Lindholm came out of the goal and Jörgen Rudqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 68 in the game by Jörgen Rudqvist from a close distance when the talented Bengt Lindholm managed to make a qualified save. Björköby's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gábor Keserű in the 74th minute of play forced Limhamns Stjärnor's goalkeeper Vincent Falkrantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Delmiro Gabirel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Gábor Keserű shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Falkrantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vincent Falkrantz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmiro Gabirel went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Pontus Wennerquist's late challenge caught a Limhamns Stjärnor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pontus Wennerquist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Pontus Wennerquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 87 minutes, Delmiro Gabirel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Björköby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Gabirel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Björköby's William Biörling tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Björköby players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
