Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Karlskrona IK's Jonny Björk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Karlskrona IK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Josef Ugla was slow to take the kick. During this time Die Mannschaft's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Henry Häger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karl-Åke Sjögren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hans Jet hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes of play, Karlskrona IK's Philip Lundqvist made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Verner Målare was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute Henry Häger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Sjögren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luka Gašpar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Åke Sjögren was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Die Mannschaft's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Josef Ugla in the 28th minute. It was a well-played corner which Ted Pålsson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Brian Blomquist charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brian Blomquist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Karlskrona IK got a freekick which was hit by Brian Blomquist. The supporters of Die Mannschaft booed when Karlskrona IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Kronhage didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Die Mannschaft's Verner Målare got control of the ball when Kurt Myhr tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Kurt Myhr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Luka Gašpar made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Kurt Myhr cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Verner Målare was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henry Häger was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Die Mannschaft's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Karl-Åke Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Molin, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Die Mannschaft's goal looked a bit too open when Jonny Björk came free, but Verner Målare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Åke Sjögren made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Luka Gašpar sent off a good shot on target. After 76 minutes of play Karlskrona IK's Hans Jet was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 76th minute, Hans Jet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the game, Luka Gašpar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl-Åke Sjögren. Luka Gašpar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Karl-Åke Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka Gašpar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Åke Sjögren made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Luka Gašpar sent off a good shot on target. After 87 played minutes Karlskrona IK got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Myhr. When Josef Ugla came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Die Mannschaft fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Ugla couldn't finish the play. In the 89th match minute, Karlskrona IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Lundqvist to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Die Mannschaft getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Filip Molin hit a great ball. Die Mannschaft's Verner Målare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Björk in the 92nd minute of play. Die Mannschaft's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Karlskrona IK had won, even though Die Mannschaft had held more of the ball.
