A hard shot 4 in the game by Christopher Hansson from a close distance when the talented Tor Åström managed to make a qualified save. Fratton Boys's players were relieved. Fratton Boys's attentive Wes Van Goolen managed to snatch the ball when Boris Månsson made a throw-in in the 6th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Backman in the 7th minute of play forced Landol IF's goalkeeper Errol Polonia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredric Backman hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10thth minute of the game Christopher Hansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fratton Boys's Tor Åström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jens-Erik Askstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christopher Hansson in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor Åström saved Fratton Boys from getting behind. When Torbjörn Stål fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fratton Boys's protests and gave Torbjörn Stål a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Torbjörn Stål hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tor Åström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens-Erik Askstedt went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute Christopher Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tor Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Landol IF booed when Fratton Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melker Sjöman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christopher Hansson scored 2-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tor Åström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Christopher Hansson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tor Åström. The goal made the score 3-0. If Melker Sjöman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christopher Hansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tor Åström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christopher Hansson ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Landol IF's Christopher Hansson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tor Åström. That made the score 4-0 after 42 minutes of play. In the 45th minute, Christopher Hansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Landol IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.

Severino Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Tor Åström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christopher Hansson's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Fredric Backman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredric Backman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Errol Polonia made a huge save. If Christopher Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tor Åström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Ahlstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Christopher Hansson put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tor Åström. The corner led to Landol IF's Jens-Erik Askstedt getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Fredric Backman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, Landol IF's Christopher Hansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tor Åström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Tor Åström came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Landol IF's Christopher Hansson. But to his dismay, Christopher Hansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christopher Hansson in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor Åström saved Fratton Boys from getting behind. In the 93rd minute Landol IF were awarded a corner. Alex Sivieri went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in Landol IF's zone, Melker Sjöman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Errol Polonia came out of the goal and Melker Sjöman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fratton Boys players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Landol IF.
