The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Persson got free with Adam Linquist in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Mårtensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Olof Carlsson in the 35th minute of play. Kävlinge FC's Adam Linquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Kävlinge FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Kävlinge FC's Örjan Björklund got a free kick in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Kävlinge FC's Adam Linquist got control of the ball when Björn Jespersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Persson took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adam Linquist. Adam Linquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Persson in the 46th minute of play forced Kävlinge FC's goalkeeper Adam Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Kevin Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Christian Mårtensson was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Joachim Kihlberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Malcolm Påk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marieholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Malcolm Påk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Linquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. But to his dismay, Daniel Persson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Sture Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Hans Fastesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Kävlinge FC defense, Malcolm Påk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adam Linquist. The Kävlinge FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adam Linquist should have stopped the shot. Adam Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Björn Jespersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Malcolm Påk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Linquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, Marieholm's Daniel Persson made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Linquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute, Malcolm Påk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam Linquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. A collision led to Kävlinge FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Hans Fastesson hit a great ball. Adam Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Söderberg in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kävlinge FC's Hans Fastesson got a free kick in the 84th minute. Christian Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Kihlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
