Hedbergets BK's Börge Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Ulizes in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Matt Mampaerts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stensjön IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Cristian Ulizes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Börge Lundqvist. Hedbergets BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Ulizes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 20 played minutes Hedbergets BK got a freekick which was hit by Hans Fastesson. The supporters of Hedbergets BK booed when Stensjön IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Rosén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarl Caspersson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sven-Oskar Säv firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 26th minute of the match, Rudolf Stål tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sven-Oskar Säv saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rudolf Stål fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Oskar Säv having to interfere. Börge Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Ulizes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of Stensjön IFK booed when Hedbergets BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximilian Bålström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Börge Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Rosén, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Nils Vinström kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Börge Lundqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Stensjön IFK were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rudolf Stål to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Stensjön IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Michael Björkdal to maneuver through the defense. After 55 minutes of play, Stensjön IFK's Matt Mampaerts made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Börge Lundqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Matt Mampaerts got free with Börge Lundqvist in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Stensjön IFK booed when Hedbergets BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarl Caspersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Sven-Oskar Pååk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes, Stensjön IFK's Sebastian Fagrell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Börge Lundqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stensjön IFK reached it. When Nils Vinström came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Hedbergets BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Vinström couldn't finish the play. Sven-Oskar Säv didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jarl Caspersson went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Hedbergets BK's Börge Lundqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Hedbergets BK from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, Andy Rosén ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Börge Lundqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. In the 80th minute, Stensjön IFK's Cristian Ulizes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Börge Lundqvist. Börge Lundqvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Börge Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Ulizes in the 84th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximilian Bålström during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Hedbergets BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilian Bålström to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Stensjön IFK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
