They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Samuelsson couldn't finish the play. When Rune Lang fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marieholm's protests and gave Rune Lang a yellow card for diving instead. The corner ended in Sture Söderberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Norrkila FC's Andreas Axelsson did a great save.
