Spectators: 7701 (Terracing: 5777, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) Rudolf Stål started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Börge Lundqvist came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Marieholm's Malcolm Påk. But to his dismay, Malcolm Påk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Björn Jespersson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Börge Lundqvist. That made the score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. A collision led to Hedbergets BK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jarl Caspersson hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Marieholm's Malcolm Påk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. With a little luck, Hedbergets BK's Börge Lundqvist got control of the ball when Björn Jespersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Marieholm booed when Hedbergets BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarl Caspersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Björn Jespersson in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Börge Lundqvist saved Hedbergets BK from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, Hedbergets BK's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Påk came free, but Börge Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Myhr in the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Marieholm got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Persson. If Ingemar Myhr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Börge Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Påk in the 28th minute of play. Björn Jespersson came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Börge Lundqvist could save by the left post. Marieholm's Christian Mårtensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Myhr in the 37th minute of play. Ingemar Myhr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute of the match, Daniel Persson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Börge Lundqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingemar Myhr during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Hedbergets BK got a freekick which was hit by Ingemar Myhr.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Björn Jespersson to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Marieholm's Björn Jespersson made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Börge Lundqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ingemar Myhr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Mårtensson having to interfere. Börge Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Jespersson in the 61st minute of the match. Christian Mårtensson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. 71 minutes into the game, Björn Jespersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Börge Lundqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 76 minutes into the match, Hedbergets BK's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Påk came free, but Börge Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Jespersson struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Börge Lundqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marieholm. In the 83rd minute Daniel Persson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börge Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Marieholm's Daniel Persson made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Börge Lundqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 88 played minutes Hedbergets BK got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Caspersson. Börge Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Jespersson in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Daniel Persson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marieholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Marieholm had played much better football throughout.
