But to his dismay, Daniel Persson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cristian Ulizes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 22 minutes into the game, when Harald Nyström put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Stensjön IFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marieholm:s goal. 32 minutes into the match, Marieholm's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Graça came free, but Christian Mårtensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Jespersson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sven-Oskar Säv came out and tried to block the shot, but Björn Jespersson slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 34th minute. Malcolm Påk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Björn Jespersson got free with Sven-Oskar Säv in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Marieholm's Christian Mårtensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Helberg in the 51st minute of play. Marieholm's Malcolm Påk got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Oskar Säv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malcolm Påk in the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Marieholm's Christian Mårtensson got control of the ball when Alexander Helberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match Stensjön IFK got a corner. Marieholm's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastian Fagrell ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Stensjön IFK's Cristian Ulizes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Marieholm fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Sven-Oskar Säv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Persson in the 63rd minute of play. Sven-Oskar Säv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Persson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Helberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christian Mårtensson firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 77th minute of the match, Alexander Helberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christian Mårtensson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Christian Mårtensson was a little too slow when Alexander Helberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 4-1. In the 81st match minute, Stensjön IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Fagrell to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Anders Bennet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Sebastian Fagrell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stensjön IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Fagrell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Mårtensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Marieholm defense, Alexander Helberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Mårtensson. The Marieholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Mårtensson should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Stensjön IFK booed when Marieholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Bennet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matt Mampaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Christian Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Björn Jespersson notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Stensjön IFK's Sven-Oskar Säv. Sven-Oskar Säv was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
