Alexander Helberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Klas Ekenberg made a huge save. Klas Ekenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Ulizes in the 7th minute of play. Sven-Oskar Säv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Wassenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Wassenius in the 10th minute of play forced Stensjön IFK's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Säv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Lázaro Graça reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Klas Ekenberg. The goal made the score 1-0. With his leg Klas Ekenberg managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Stensjön IFK's Alexander Helberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Helberg in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Klas Ekenberg saved Lilla Vattnet from getting behind. Klas Ekenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Graça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stensjön IFK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastian Fagrell in the 22nd minute. Sebastian Fagrell made a great header on Stensjön IFK's corner, it was just that Lilla Vattnet's Klas Ekenberg managed to reach the ball for a save. Klas Ekenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Graça in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Helberg got free with Klas Ekenberg in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 30 minutes of play, Lilla Vattnet's Martin Wassenius made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Oskar Säv was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Helberg got free with Klas Ekenberg in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven-Oskar Säv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Wassenius in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute Lilla Vattnet were awarded a corner. Marcus Wassenius went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Lilla Vattnet's Marcus Wassenius to fire away a dangerous shot which Sven-Oskar Säv despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 42 played minutes Stensjön IFK got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Ulizes. The supporters of Lilla Vattnet booed when Stensjön IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Ulizes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Wassenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Sven-Oskar Säv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Wassenius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Stensjön IFK's Andy Rosén nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Klas Ekenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 57th minute, Alexander Helberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stensjön IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Sven-Oskar Säv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Wassenius in the 65th minute of the match. Martin Wassenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Wassenius got free with Sven-Oskar Säv in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 minutes Stensjön IFK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcus Wassenius who took care of the corner kick. In the 73rd minute, Sebastian Fagrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute Matt Mampaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klas Ekenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Marcus Wassenius recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Oskar Säv. Marcus Wassenius showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Lilla Vattnet's Philip Klintæus suffered a fractured collar bone after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Viklund during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matt Mampaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Klas Ekenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Stensjön IFK had won after a very even match.
