The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, BK Gunilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Skräddare to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to BK Gunilla getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. William Olenberg hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Solna Replicants's Axel Thidén threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dan Colin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 6th minute of the match Solna Replicants got a corner. BK Gunilla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patrick Fredriksson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Solna Replicants's Ingemar Jonsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Axel Thidén in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Axel Thidén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Colin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, BK Gunilla's Oskar Britz got a free kick in the 13th minute. BK Gunilla's Axel Thidén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save BK Gunilla from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Nils-Erik Olofsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Axel Thidén. The goal made the score 1-0. After 26 minutes of play, Solna Replicants's Paul Runberg made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Axel Thidén was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paul Runberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Axel Thidén came out and tried to block the shot, but Paul Runberg slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Solna Replicants's Dan Colin got a free kick in the 34th minute. When BK Gunilla's Pål Östlund in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Solna Replicants's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pål Östlund in the 46th minute of play forced Solna Replicants's goalkeeper Ingvar Lundblad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingemar Jonsson was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, BK Gunilla's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Colin came free, but Axel Thidén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Solna Replicants's goalkeeper Ingvar Lundblad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. BK Gunilla's Axel Thidén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Jonsson in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Ingemar Jonsson made a precise shot to the right of Axel Thidén. BK Gunilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Paul Runberg hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. BK Gunilla's Axel Thidén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Runberg in the 60th minute of play. Paul Runberg scored 5-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Axel Thidén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Solna Replicants's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Östlund came free, but Ingvar Lundblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 played minutes Solna Replicants got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Borre. Solna Replicants's Kenneth Bratt was substituted for Mikael Borre. With a little luck, Solna Replicants's Ingvar Lundblad got control of the ball when Pål Östlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of BK Gunilla booed when Solna Replicants was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Colin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Solna Replicants defense, Timmy Skog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingvar Lundblad. The Solna Replicants fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingvar Lundblad should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute Algot Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Thidén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Solna Replicants made a substitution. Lars-Erik Ekberg replaced Ingemar Jonsson. Solna Replicants were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after BK Gunilla's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patrick Fredriksson took the corner. Patrick Fredriksson made a great header on Solna Replicants's corner, it was just that BK Gunilla's Axel Thidén managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the BK Gunilla defense, Lars-Erik Ekberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Thidén. The BK Gunilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Thidén should have stopped the shot. Solna Replicants's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
