After 6 played minutes Kinnahult got a freekick which was hit by Gunther Øre. If Örjan Gullesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. HullaBoys's Jan-Ove Forss got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th match minute, Kinnahult was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Göransson to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Jan-Ove Forss put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Karl Helander. 30 minutes into the match, Kinnahult's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ove Forss came free, but Karl Helander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Brian Åström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerry Stål was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Vincent Göransson kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Birger Mattsson hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Kinnahult's Karl Helander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Kinnahult from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as HullaBoys's 尹光岩 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karl Helander. That made the score 0-2 after 67 minutes of play. If Greger Barck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 71 played minutes Kinnahult got a freekick which was hit by Thor Kjellqvist. Jan-Ove Forss might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl Helander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Ove Forss ran back to his position shaking his head. 尹光岩 hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Örjan Gullesson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kinnahult's supporters crossed their fingers, but Örjan Gullesson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Godoy hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in HullaBoys's zone, Brian Åström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerry Stål came out of the goal and Brian Åström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Greger Barck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerry Stål showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Åström in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched HullaBoys eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
