Bäckefors BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oskar Ånger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 23 minutes of play, Wäsby Rockers's Lucien Pitts made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Lingren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bäckefors BF's Kent Anundsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alex Lingren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Wäsby Rockers's Alex Lingren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Ånger in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Sture Ros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucien Pitts was the one to do the kick off. Alex Lingren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Ånger, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of Wäsby Rockers booed when Bäckefors BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Ånger didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Påk in the 60th minute of play forced Wäsby Rockers's goalkeeper Alex Lingren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Bäckefors BF's goal looked a bit too open when Lucien Pitts came free, but Igor Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Lingren made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Oskar Ånger sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 70 in the game by Oskar Ånger from a close distance when the talented Alex Lingren managed to make a qualified save. Wäsby Rockers's players were relieved. Oskar Ånger who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Alex Lingren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 79 minutes into the game, Oskar Ånger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alex Lingren. Oskar Ånger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Wäsby Rockers made a substitution. Patric Moberg replaced Anthon Pihlgren. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wäsby Rockers's goalkeeper Alex Lingren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 85 minutes Wäsby Rockers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andreas Back who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Oskar Ånger managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Wäsby Rockers getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Andréas Ekerot hit a great ball. Andreas Back, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 94th minute Tadeo Galeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bäckefors BF's goalkeeper Igor Damião, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Bäckefors BF got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Dahlqvist. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
