Spectators: 7742 (Terracing: 5808, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Freddie Wikander started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Ekerö IF's Freddie Wikander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evert Ahlén narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Freddie Wikander scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evert Ahlén, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13thth minute of the game Bengt-Arne Biörnberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vejbystrand's Evert Ahlén was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Jim Fernström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vejbystrand's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ekerö IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vejbystrand's Jim Fernström got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Bengt-Arne Biörnberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evert Ahlén. Vejbystrand's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt-Arne Biörnberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 19 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's goal looked a bit too open when Freddie Wikander came free, but Evert Ahlén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvard Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Arvin Bollström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evert Ahlén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Wikander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert Ahlén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Wikander in the 31st minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Freddie Wikander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vejbystrand's Evert Ahlén was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Freddie Wikander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Ekerö IF's Freddie Wikander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evert Ahlén made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Vejbystrand's Per Palmquist got a free kick in the 39th minute. Evert Ahlén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Wikander in the 42nd minute of play. Bengt-Arne Biörnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Antoni Zywiec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

If Freddie Wikander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt-Arne Biörnberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evert Ahlén read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 53 minutes, Freddie Wikander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ekerö IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddie Wikander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddie Wikander got free with Evert Ahlén in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arvin Bollström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Evert Ahlén made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Freddie Wikander sent off a good shot on target. Jim Fernström hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Vejbystrand's Roy Rosendahl in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ekerö IF's goalie prevented a goal. After 68 minutes of play, Ekerö IF's Freddie Wikander made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evert Ahlén was left in no man's land by his defense there! Freddie Wikander might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evert Ahlén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddie Wikander ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the game, Freddie Wikander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Evert Ahlén was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Evert Ahlén made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Freddie Wikander sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute Edvard Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Bollström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's goalkeeper Evert Ahlén had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddie Wikander. 84 minutes into the game, Freddie Wikander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Evert Ahlén was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Freddie Wikander put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Evert Ahlén. After 91 played minutes Ekerö IF got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Siöman. Ekerö IF's Arvin Bollström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Rosendahl in the 92nd minute of play. Bengt-Arne Biörnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Ekerö IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vejbystrand throughout the match.
