Karl Gallberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Ingemarsson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Karl Gallberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lidingö's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Gallberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Ingemarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Valla IF's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Pilblad came free, but Samuel Ingemarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl Gallberg to strike the kick off in the second half.
