In the 5th minute Elliott Uggla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 minutes, Elliott Uggla made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Storbyns IF's Karl-Johan Olsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl-Johan Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Uggla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the game, Rikard Blom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Storbyns IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vejbystrand IFK the free kick. In the 17th minute, Rikard Blom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elliott Uggla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Olsson having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Torsten Frisck during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elliott Uggla in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Johan Olsson saved Storbyns IF from getting behind. Joacim Sundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rikard Blom in the 25th minute of play. Elliott Uggla scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Johan Olsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fritz Skröder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joacim Sundin having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Elliott Uggla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Johan Olsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Elliott Uggla might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Johan Olsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elliott Uggla ran back to his position shaking his head. Fritz Skröder kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Birger Bålström struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Karl-Johan Olsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vejbystrand IFK. Gottfrid Svanberg's late challenge caught a Storbyns IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gottfrid Svanberg helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Vejbystrand IFK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gottfrid Svanberg hit a great ball. Karl-Johan Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Bålström in the 41st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Fritz Skröder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Storbyns IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Fritz Skröder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joacim Sundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Storbyns IF defense, Elliott Uggla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Johan Olsson. The Storbyns IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Johan Olsson should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fritz Skröder made the kick off in the second half. Elliott Uggla might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Johan Olsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elliott Uggla ran back to his position shaking his head. Vejbystrand IFK's Elliott Uggla was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Skröder in the 60th minute of play forced Vejbystrand IFK's goalkeeper Joacim Sundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Elliott Uggla lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Karl-Johan Olsson. When Torsten Frisck was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Bålström in the 71st minute of play forced Storbyns IF's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elliott Uggla in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Johan Olsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Vejbystrand IFK getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Leif Lundblad hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Skröder came free, but Joacim Sundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Elliott Uggla fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 79 minutes, Pontus Waller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Storbyns IF and the Vejbystrand IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Pontus Waller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the game, Elliott Uggla lined in a short shot 0-7 behind a frustrated Karl-Johan Olsson. Elliott Uggla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Karl-Johan Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 minutes, Birger Bålström made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Storbyns IF's Karl-Johan Olsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Storbyns IF's Fritz Skröder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joacim Sundin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Elliott Uggla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl-Johan Olsson. Elliott Uggla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Vejbystrand IFK played a much better game than Storbyns IF and deserved their victory. The Storbyns IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
