The referee ignored Storbyns IF's protests and gave Edward Ivarsson a yellow card for diving instead. 15 minutes into the game, one of Storbyns IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Roy Rosendahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Karl-Johan Olsson made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
