Cezary Mista made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Joacim Ahlfors sent off a good shot on target. Håkan Samuelsson scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vilhelm Arenstedt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Hyssna IF's Håkan Samuelsson in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 40th minute Håkan Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Arenstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Blä FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Krister Wennerberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Hyssna IF's players had a chance to rest. Hyssna IF's Krister Wennerberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vilhelm Arenstedt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joacim Ahlfors stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cezary Mista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Olof Askstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dag Asserlind in the 61st minute of play forced Blä FF's goalkeeper Vilhelm Arenstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Sven-Oskar Spets heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jan-Olof Askstedt might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cezary Mista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some careless play in the Hyssna IF defense, Jan-Olof Askstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cezary Mista. The Hyssna IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cezary Mista should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hyssna IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
