After a rather tough play, FC Liverpool's Tobias Sigman got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Agne Lång shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andréas Strandberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to FC Liverpool getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Edmundo Carioca hit a great ball. Valla BF's Rickard Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Carioca in the 20th minute of play. Jan Carlberg charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Carlberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Valla BF getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jan Carlberg hit a great ball. Johannes Walmarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rickard Jansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven Strömberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 38th playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Valla BF's Sven Strömberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andréas Strandberg. That made the score 3-0 after 42 minutes of play. In the 46th match minute, FC Liverpool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Melberg to maneuver through the defense. Sven Strömberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Andréas Strandberg made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jarl Apelquist to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Sven Strömberg made a precise shot to the right of Andréas Strandberg. FC Liverpool's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 55th minute Kjell Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andréas Strandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Strömberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agne Lång hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, Valla BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Henriksson to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, FC Liverpool's Sigvard Hagberg tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 68 minutes, Timmy Strömberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valla BF and the FC Liverpool players grew even worse after the yellow card. Timmy Strömberg hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Jan Carlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Valla BF booed when FC Liverpool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Hagberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lars Pil came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Valla BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Pil couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd match minute, Valla BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agne Lång to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Valla BF had won after a very even match.
