Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Torbjörn Ekeroth kicked off to start the match. After 44 minutes, Folke Ekelund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mönsterås RK and the WRYYYY players grew even worse after the yellow card. Folke Ekelund hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match George Danielsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peter Lundström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Mönsterås RK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. WRYYYY were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Markus Kleen made a kick off. Tom Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Arvidsson in the 53rd minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Mönsterås RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Ekelund to maneuver through the defense. Folke Ekelund was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Mönsterås RK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of WRYYYY:s goal. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for WRYYYY. George Danielsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Peter Lundström. 0-2. Peter Lundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Ekeroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Lundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torbjörn Ekeroth in the 74th minute of the match. George Danielsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göran Hjortsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Peter Lundström made a huge save. Torbjörn Ekeroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Peter Lundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Torbjörn Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Danielsson struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Peter Lundström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WRYYYY. When the match was over WRYYYY could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mönsterås RK throughout the match.
