Leonard Bäckman charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Bäckman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jakob Lund might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven Västberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jakob Lund ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ted Hurtig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bill Van Havent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Pilgren in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, VALHALL's 江源树 made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven Västberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the game, Peder Öman threw the ball into play from the sideline. VALHALL's 江源树 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After taking down the ball on VALHALL's corner Osvald Arvidsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sven Västberg quite easily take care of the ball. Osvald Arvidsson's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Sven Västberg - 0-3 was put on the score board in the 34th minute. Ramon-Angel Díaz struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Sven Västberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VALHALL. After some careless play in the Norrlandsfotboll FC defense, 江源树 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Västberg. The Norrlandsfotboll FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Västberg should have stopped the shot. Ted Hurtig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sven Västberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven Västberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half VALHALL were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Adam Pilgren made the kick off in the second half. When Ted Hurtig came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the VALHALL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ted Hurtig couldn't finish the play. Bill Van Havent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Snell in the 59th minute of play. If Ramon-Angel Díaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ove Rydberg hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Jakob Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, Ramon-Angel Díaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven Västberg. Norrlandsfotboll FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramon-Angel Díaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Ramon-Angel Díaz struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. VALHALL's Jakob Lund got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Hurtig in the 86th minute of play forced Norrlandsfotboll FC's goalkeeper Sven Västberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon-Angel Díaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ted Hurtig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jakob Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
