If Georg Ekelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in F.C Lundbyborg's zone, Alvaro Laurenti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmy Olsmann came out of the goal and Alvaro Laurenti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Georg Ekelund notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of F.C Lundbyborg's Jimmy Olsmann. Jimmy Olsmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isak Andberg to make the kick off.
