An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Eliasson in the 12th minute of play forced Vindeln FK's goalkeeper Anton Lund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Adrian Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Engelholms FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Ek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Lund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anton Lund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustav Back to make the kick off. Adrian Ek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Lund having to make a save. After 55 minutes of play Vindeln FK's Pontus Matsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Vindeln FK's Pontus Matsson got a free kick in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustav Back got free with Anton Lund in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Vindeln FK's goalkeeper Anton Lund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustav Back. Erling Palmquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Bernard Ramzinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anton Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Back in the 73rd minute of the match. Gustav Back hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Jonathan Böcklund's late challenge caught a Engelholms FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Böcklund helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Vindeln FK got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Böcklund. Bernard Ramzinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Palmquist in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Engelholms FF getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Adrian Ek hit a great ball. Gustav Back scored 0-5 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anton Lund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Engelholms FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Engelholms FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
