In the 8th minute, Dan Eliasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Engelholms FF were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Houston FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benjamin Wenerdahl took the corner. Engelholms FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benjamin Wenerdahl in the 13th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Gustav Back heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Min Muller in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernard Ramzinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17thth minute of the game Min Muller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Engelholms FF's Bernard Ramzinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Houston FF's Wojciech Ptaszek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Houston FF from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the game, Jan Bryngelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Engelholms FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Houston FF the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Engelholms FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Bryngelsson to maneuver through the defense. Bernard Ramzinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigiusz Cuber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Karl Wagstaff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Houston FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Engelholms FF the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Houston FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Wagstaff to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Wenerdahl made a great header on Engelholms FF's corner, it was just that Houston FF's Wojciech Ptaszek managed to reach the ball for a save. 32 minutes into the match, Engelholms FF's goal looked a bit too open when Remigiusz Cuber came free, but Bernard Ramzinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Ålberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wojciech Ptaszek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustav Back went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
If Gustav Back had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Engelholms FF's Erik Gunnarsson in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Houston FF's goalie prevented a goal. After 55 played minutes Engelholms FF got a freekick which was hit by Dan Eliasson. Bernard Ramzinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Biörling in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Gustav Back made a precise shot to the right of Wojciech Ptaszek. Houston FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Byström in the 64th minute of play forced Houston FF's goalkeeper Wojciech Ptaszek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Erik Gunnarsson notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Houston FF's Wojciech Ptaszek. Wojciech Ptaszek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 70 minutes into the match, Houston FF's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Eliasson came free, but Wojciech Ptaszek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wojciech Ptaszek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Gunnarsson in the 72nd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Engelholms FF's goal looked a bit too open when Min Muller came free, but Bernard Ramzinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Houston FF's Wojciech Ptaszek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Gunnarsson in the 78th minute of play. Jan Bryngelsson was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Eliasson during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes Engelholms FF got a freekick which was hit by Dan Eliasson. Dan Eliasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wojciech Ptaszek having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Houston FF's zone, Erik Gunnarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wojciech Ptaszek came out of the goal and Erik Gunnarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Engelholms FF's Erik Gunnarsson suffered a sprained foot after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Engelholms FF's Simon Hegg was substituted for Erik Gunnarsson. After a rather tough play, Houston FF's Fredrik Hellström got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Robert Byström hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Engelholms FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
