Angelo Pilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Czajkowski in the 17th minute of play. Angelo Pilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Örtendal, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Czeslaw Czajkowski in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Pilla saved Ekaryd FF from getting behind. A collision led to Ekaryd FF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Håkan Bergsten hit a great ball. Czeslaw Czajkowski took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Pilla. Angelo Pilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Czeslaw Czajkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Czeslaw Czajkowski in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Pilla saved Ekaryd FF from getting behind. In the 37th minute Czeslaw Czajkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Pilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Örtendal in the 38th minute of play forced Ekaryd FF's goalkeeper Angelo Pilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Czeslaw Czajkowski took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Pilla. Angelo Pilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 42 minutes into the match, Ekaryd FF's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Örtendal came free, but Angelo Pilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Czeslaw Czajkowski took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Pilla. Angelo Pilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Czeslaw Czajkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute Åstäppa FK were awarded a corner. Peter Örtendal went to the cornerflag to take it. Åstäppa FK's Czeslaw Czajkowski was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Håkan Axelsson took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Angelo Pilla to make any attempt to save it. Czeslaw Czajkowski let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 74th minute shot 0-8 at rihgt post. Czeslaw Czajkowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Angelo Pilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 80 minutes, Adrian Sörman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ekaryd FF and the Åstäppa FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Czeslaw Czajkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Angelo Pilla made a huge save. Åstäppa FK were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Ekaryd FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peter Örtendal took the corner. After taking down the ball on Åstäppa FK's corner Peter Örtendal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelo Pilla quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uno Lundkvist got free with Angelo Pilla in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 0-9 became the score in the 88th minute when Czeslaw Czajkowski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Åstäppa FK's Peter Örtendal got a free kick in the 90th minute. Czeslaw Czajkowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Angelo Pilla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match was over Åstäppa FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ekaryd FF throughout the match.
