Spectators: 7673 (Terracing: 5755, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Inder De Carolis kicked off to start the match. Roger Strömberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Sörman went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Adrian Sörman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Strömberg having to interfere. After 14 minutes of play, Ekaryd FF's Inder De Carolis made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Strömberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute, Adrian Sörman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michael Lidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Strömberg having to interfere. Fågelfors IF's Roger Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inder De Carolis in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fågelfors IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Han Ying Yi was slow to take the kick. During this time Ekaryd FF's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Michael Lidman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fågelfors IF's Roger Strömberg did a great save. Roger Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inder De Carolis in the 28th minute of play. Adrian Sörman kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Adrian Sörman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ekaryd FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Inder De Carolis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Roger Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inder De Carolis took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Strömberg. Roger Strömberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 39 minutes into the match, Inder De Carolis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roger Strömberg. Fågelfors IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inder De Carolis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Ekaryd FF's Adrian Sörman got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fågelfors IF's goalkeeper Roger Strömberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Fågelfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Lidman came free, but Roger Strömberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conny Valler made a kick off. Angelo Pilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conny Valler in the 52nd minute of the match. Inder De Carolis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Roger Strömberg made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt Melander during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, Bengt Melander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Han Ying Yi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roger Strömberg. That made the score 0-7 in the 57 minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Ekaryd FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Sjöö to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes Fågelfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Jim Pihlberg. Fågelfors IF's Roger Strömberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Fågelfors IF from getting a goal against them. Adrian Sörman struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Roger Strömberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ekaryd FF. After some careless play in the Fågelfors IF defense, Adrian Sörman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Strömberg. The Fågelfors IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Strömberg should have stopped the shot. Inder De Carolis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Roger Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conny Valler in the 85th minute of play forced Ekaryd FF's goalkeeper Angelo Pilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Lidman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Roger Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Inder De Carolis fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ekaryd FF's protests and gave Inder De Carolis a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes Ekaryd FF got a freekick which was hit by Inder De Carolis. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fågelfors IF's goalkeeper Roger Strömberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Inder De Carolis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Fågelfors IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ekaryd FF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
