Spectators: 7675 (Terracing: 5757, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Per Tholsson started the match with the kick off. Per Tholsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stellan Gallin having to interfere. After 5 played minutes Vitå got a freekick which was hit by Gunnar Ekström. With a little luck, Vitå's Stig-Åke Bennet got control of the ball when Per Frick tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Vitå was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Per Tholsson in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stellan Gallin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stellan Gallin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per Tholsson's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After 18 played minutes Vitå got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Hermansson. Per Frick's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Stig-Åke Bennet skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 28th minute, Karl-Magnus Rosendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Fredriksdal BF's zone, Gunnar Ekström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stellan Gallin came out of the goal and Gunnar Ekström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st match minute, Vitå was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Rosendahl to maneuver through the defense. Petter Nordal hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Kent Hjortsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Fredriksdal BF's Algot Svensson was substituted for Daniel Westerberg. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig-Åke Bennet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Tholsson in the 64th minute of play forced Fredriksdal BF's goalkeeper Stellan Gallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Algot Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Åke Bennet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Fredriksdal BF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gunnar Ekström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Fredriksdal BF's Vilgot Alebäck got a free kick in the 69th minute. Stellan Gallin made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Per Tholsson sent off a good shot on target. Vilgot Alebäck hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Per Frick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Åke Bennet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Per Frick notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Vitå's Stig-Åke Bennet. Stig-Åke Bennet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Per Tholsson in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stellan Gallin saved Fredriksdal BF from getting behind. Fredriksdal BF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
