Spectators: 7680 (Terracing: 5761, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabian Fågel started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Fabian Fågel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Fredriksdal BF's Stellan Gallin. Stellan Gallin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sven Colin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th match minute, Tranås BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Bure to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Per Frick lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Kristian Sundén. After having played for 19 minutes, Fabian Fågel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tranås BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Fågel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torgny Bergfelt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stellan Gallin having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Sven Colin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tranås BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 37 minutes into the match, Fredriksdal BF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Colin came free, but Stellan Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Torgny Bergfelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute, Fabian Fågel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joachim Nordkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Stellan Gallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Fågel in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stellan Gallin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Fredriksdal BF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tranås BF were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per Frick made a kick off. Sten Brask could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Stellan Gallin made a huge save. Stellan Gallin made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Torgny Bergfelt sent off a good shot on target. When Sven Colin came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Tranås BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Colin couldn't finish the play. Torgny Bergfelt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Stellan Gallin made a huge save. With his leg Stellan Gallin managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Tranås BF's Fabian Fågel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Fredriksdal BF's zone, Torgny Bergfelt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stellan Gallin came out of the goal and Torgny Bergfelt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Tranås BF's Stellan Gallin threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabian Fågel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fabian Fågel had several of the Fredriksdal BF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Stellan Gallin as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Torgny Bergfelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sten Brask was extremely unlucky when he, in the 85th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Kristian Sundén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Frick in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 minutes, Börje Bure mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tranås BF and the Fredriksdal BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Börje Bure hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Tranås BF played a much better game than Fredriksdal BF and deserved their victory. The Fredriksdal BF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
